Qu(eue)

a process manager, due:2025.

qu is based on sequences; each sequence holds numerous processes, and runs using a pre-decided schedule.

Replace cron, fork, &, nohup, heck, systemd. Plug in manager programs; check your emails; unsubscribe all your spam. Enable audible pings on your mobile phone because now each one means you should probably care again.

Make deeper connections among your peers because your energy is no longer being drained by a hodgepodge of daily doldrum.

Process

Use common sense; a normal [Task Manager] or [htop] or [ps] -displayable, memory-mapped mix of logic normally run on a processor chip as a callable command.

Sequence

A durable memory space ([hard disc] or [memory card]), holding an arranged plan of operation. Each sequence can be called upon to run, delay, display, hide, or engage, any process inside.

Sequences can also be re-arranged, because changing your mind is common.

Schedule

An operaciónal plan, bound by rules you may choose. Re-arranging a sequence is usually as simple as changing a schedule.

[Qu] is designed as a side-loaded program in your shell, and uses norms as encouraged by Nushell.
